Any Christmas Tree can become an Angel Tree…. whether it’s a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree or a tree that would rival Rockefeller Center.
An Angel Tree is simply a Christmas tree decorated with tags that have the age and gender of a child who will receive toys/gifts through The Salvation Army this Christmas.
Angel Trees can be found in a church lobby, hair salons, hardware stores, banks, offices, busy malls….anywhere!
Hosting an Angel Tree is easy
- Contact us to let us know the number of tags you’d like and we’ll deliver them to you along with a sign explaining the program. All you have to do is put the tags on your tree and let people who want to be a Christmas Angel select their tags.
- People wishing to be a Christmas Angel pick a tag (or tags) from the tree, purchase toys / gifts for that child and drop their donation off at one of our drop-off locations located throughout the city.
- Please let us know if you would like members of the public to access your tree, or just people within your organization/group.
- If you’d like to be a drop-off location for the donations that’s great! If not, they can be dropped off at any location listed on our website which is shown on the back of the tags.
- Our Wish List is helpful for those looking for gift buying ideas and inspiration!
