The Salvation Army believes that Summer Adventure Camp is an opportunity every child should have!

Canoeing, hiking, swimming, archery and stories by the campfire are memories that kids will hold dear as they grow into young adults. While having fun in the sun with new and old friends, teamwork and the value of community are unforgettable life lessons that they’ll remember fondly!

When families struggle financially, they often cannot afford the luxury of sending their kid to camp. We subsidize most of the camp fees, so that children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy such an experience get to live out the fun and excitement that summer camp brings, making lifelong memories and friendships.

The average cost to send a kid to camp is $460 which includes transportation to and from camp, 4 nights accommodations, and all meals and snacks. This cost continues to rise every year.
With the generous support of our community and partners we aim to continue providing this summer experience to over 70 London children this year. Our goal this year is $35,000.
